Happy Friday, my friends! I hope you’ve had a great week and that you’ll have an even better weekend.
I had an awesome time training legs yesterday. You know you had a good work out when you start getting sore the same day! Leg days are my absolute favorite, even though I really shouldn’t train them that hard anymore. I don’t do calves in general, since they’re already the size of my head…so are my quads. I guess I could focus more on my hamstrings and glutes. Josh and I both gave up squatting heavily (my favorite
) because I could feel the poor little discs in my back compressing with every rep. Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating, but the heavy weight was giving me back pain for days (even with correct form!). Anyways, yesterday’s leg workout looked like this…

I was out of the gym in 30 or 40 minutes! No cardio. My legs were already jello by the time I was finishing up with the jump squats. My quads aren’t sore this morning, but my hamstrings are hurting oh-so-good! If you decide to give this workout a whirl, please adjust the weights accordingly, whether you need to use less or more!

I’ve seen several bloggers create fall bucket lists, which I think is such a cute idea! I made one of my own, and I really tried to add goals that I am likely to go through with. As much as I wanted to add “carve a pumpkin” or “go apple picking”, I know I would never end up doing it.

I LOVE fall…I can’t wait to get started on my bucket list!
Have an amazing weekend! Keep an eye out next week for my very first GIVEAWAY!
Question of the day:
Do you have a fall tradition, such as carving pumpkins, making apple cider, etc.?
AH..totally copying you on this and making my own. Also-5 YEARS!! Remember that one day…in high school…when you guys first met
Where has the time gone…!
Hahaha yes I can’t believe that’s how we met! Time really flies. I’m excited to see what’s on your bucket list!
I feel about fall the way other people feel about New Years. All those years of being conditioned for the start of the new school year – I always pause, re-evaluate, chuck out the old, bring in the new. I redecorate, weed through my closet and buy cute fall pieces, and make new goals for myself for work. What an A+ student I am!
Oh I also try to work out more, but it seems that I saw that every other week. Sigh.
Yay you’re so inspirational o-o!! Lol I hope you find some great new pieces for your apartment and continue doing well with work! We should find some unique, healthy recipes for Thanksgiving dinner, even though that’s so far away…
me and the BF go to Apple Hill, and spend the day up there
and i have to get my fried peas
have a good weekend!!
FRIED PEAS? I’ve never heard of that, but I need to try them asap!! That sounds soo good.
Cannot wait for the smell of a freshly carved pumpkin…mmmm
I love cozy weather, and can’t wait for my BF to come home from grad school for the holidays!
I’m with you on the cozy weather and reuniting with boyfriends!! I love that the weather is cooling off
Omg I know, it was almost in the 100s for the past few weeks here in LA…crazy! Super humid, too
Congrats on your upcoming 5yrs! Are you guys long distance right now?
Wow that’s hot for September! Yeah, we’re long distance now and probably will be for the next 10 years hahaha..okay, maybe only 2 or 3. I see from your blog that your bf goes to school in Hawaii! I wanna go there so bad!! Have you visited him there?
